The volume of ice cream is 1 liter. 1 liter = 1000 cubic centimeters
you want to determine the volume of a cylinder and the cube. Whichever has the volume more than 1000 cubic cm will be right for storing the ice cream.
Volume of cylinder = pi*r^2*h. r = 4cm, h = 20cm
= 1005 cubic cm
Volume of cuboid = width*ht.*depth
= 9*6*18
= 972 cubic cm
Cylinder has little more volume than ice cream volume so it should be used for storing.
