Hi Brandi, the rocket will hit it's maximum height at the vertex of the parabola. First, find the axis of symmetry then using the axis of symmetry, find the y-value of the vertex.
Axis of symmetry:
-b/2a = -230 / -32 = 7.19 (rounded)
y-value of vertex:
y = -16 * (7.192) + 230 * 7.19 = 826.56 feet.
The maximum height of the rocket is 826.56 feet.
