A rectangle is placed around a semicircle as shown below. The width of the rectangle is 7 mm. Find the area of the shaded region. Use the value 3.14 for pi, and do not round your answer.

Hello Jesus, it is not wrong. If I assume shaded region as top of semi circle inside the rectangle, then area of shaded region will be the Area of rectangle— area of semicircle (7*3.5)—(19.2325) = 24.5–19.2325= 5.2675 sq cm Either way you are not going to get what you think.
