This would be a personal medical question. Unfortunately, in the case of supplementation, it needs to be individualized. If you don’t have any nutrient deficiencies or medical conditions, a general well-balanced diet with a variety of fruits and vegetables should be enough. If not, a one-a-day multivitamin will suffice. If you don’t have issues chewing/swallowing, pill form is best.
Most specialty vitamins or daily “individualized” packet vitamins are merely taking your money. If you have a concern regarding a deficiency or have any medical conditions, you should talk to a doctor and registered dietitian personally. We can examine lab work and determine if you’re needing any specialty supplementation. Taking more of what you need or in imbalanced our portions could actually harm you more than helps as some vitamins and minerals are not excreted through urine/fences and build up in your body.
hope this helps!
