Eugene: 2x + 6y = 44

Danielle 13x + 11y = 118

Divide Eugene's equation by 2 : x + 3y = 22 => x = 22 - 3y

Substitute into Danielle's equation

13(22 - 3y) + 11y = 118

Now expand and collect terms to get an equation in y, solve it and then use the value of y to get the value of x.
