First write the molecular equation:
Al(NO3)3(aq) + Na3PO4(aq) ==> AlPO4(s) + 3NaNO3(aq)
Since a precipitate forms (you would know this from solubility rules), then a reaction has taken place.
Now, write the total ionic equation:
Al3+(aq) + 3NO3-(aq) + 3Na+(aq) + PO43-(aq) ==> AlPO4(s) + 3Na+(aq) + 3NO3-(aq)
Finally cancel spectator ions from each side to obtain the balanced NET IONIC:
Al3+(aq) + PO43-(aq) ==> AlPO4(s)
