The height of a triangle is 3 centimeters more than the base. If the area of the triangle is 230 square centimeters what is the base and height

Area = 1/2 * Base * Height
230 = 1/2 * X * (X+3)
460 = X(X+3)
460 = x^2 + 3x
x^2 + 3x - 460 = 0
( X + 23 )(X - 20 ) = 0
X+23=0 results in negative measures
X-20 = 0 ---> X = 20
Base is 20, height is 23
