Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ?
So, we must find the value of y when x is 10. First, we must find the value of k where the initial value of y is directly proportional to the value of x such that k = y / x where
k = 1 / (1/6) = 6 because we take the reciprocal of 1/6.
Now, we find the value of y when x is 10 such that
6 = y / 10..............Cross multiply such that
y = 60
I hope this helped!
