A car starts from rest and reaches a speed of 40m/s in 10s. If its acceleration remains same then how fast will it be moving 5s later?

Use the formula V2 - V1 = a(T2 -T1) V1 = T1 = 0 a = constant

So, a = V2/T2 = 40/10 = 4 m/s²

Next V3 - V1 = a(T3 - T1) T3 = 15 seconds (5 seconds later), V1 = T1 = 0

Then V3 = a*T3 = 4*15 = 60 m/s
