Verifying if my answer is correct

A group of students randomly exist the school bus after returning from a field trip. You want to calculate the probability of two specific students leaving the bus first. Are the events independent or dependent ?

That depends on the students. For example, suppose there are a boy and girl on the bus who are "going steady" (ye gads, I am probably showing my age by using that term), i.e. they are a couple. Well, I would guess that those two might not be independent. What do you think?
