The cost of planting and harvesting wheat is $ 125 per acre. If Farmer​ Brown's total cost was $ 99, 750, how many more acres of corn than wheat did the farmer​ plant?

Let C = acres in corn and W = acres in wheat.

C+W=450

270C + 125W=99750

Solve this by substitution: C=450-W

270(450-W)+125W=99750
