A monolayer containing 3.23 x 10^-6 g of oleic acid has an area of 20.0cm^2. The density of oleic acid is 0.895 g/mL. What is the thickness of the monolayer ( the length of an oleic acid molecule) ?

Thank you so much! But, I don't understand where the 2.89x10^-6 came from? Is it the answer dividing 3.23x10^-6 and the density?

It is from dividing 3.23x10^-6 by 0.895, so yes you are right. This comes from the fact that density = mass/volume and we solve for volume since we know the density and the mass

But when i divide those two I get 3.61x19^-6 mL, is it wrong?

Yep. My bad. Careless error on my part. I’ll blame it on my faulty calculator. Thanks for catching the error.
