Greetings! Lets solve this shall we ?
So, we must find the intervals of which solutions exist. So, we solve for x such that
-x2 ≤ 16.................First, we divide by -1 such that
x2 ≥ 16.................Then, we take the square root of both sides such that
x ≥ ± 4i
Now the equation in interval notation yields as such,
[-4i, 4i] ∪ [4i, ∞)
I hope this helped!
