The perimeter of a rectangle is 40 m. The length is 4 m more three times the width. Find the length and width of the rectangle

40 = 2 w + 2 ( 3w+4)

40 = 2w + 6w + 8

40 = 8w + 8

32 = 8w

w=4

length is 16 and width is 4
