Basketball Coach
Honestly I would say that that is definitely too much training and not enough sleep for that amount of training. Your body needs time to recover.
Secondly, If you are “really” practicing three times a day then you should be in no shape to do that and lift weights five times a week. Specific, task oriented practices, designed to target different skills twice a day for 60-90 minutes is sufficient. If you just shoot-around other times, that’s okay, but don’t call it “practice”.
Weights three times a week (again targeted) will get you where you want to be

This is not my field of expertise but I have experience in this. I have a few questions. I weigh 209 pounds and like him am 5'7. I usually play soccer for 5 hours straight or basketball 3 hours straight maybe restroom break and water break almost every 4 days. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights. I don't have any muscle build up but again this may be due to all my weight not showing my potential. I'm wondering why you find him not able to do that regimen or find it possible. I understand its not good for him but he gave a pretty realistic yet terrible workout plan I didn't find it hard to believe if anything I found it boring and question what was the goal of doing that. Let me know what you think coach! I love basketball its a sport I learned in highschool and at 22 still have a passion for it.03/21/20
