If the density of the tree is LESS than that of water, it will float. So, find the density of the tree. It is rhe mass of the tree/volume. Treat it as a cylinder to find it’s volume. Keep units of meters. Then divide 260 kg by the calculated volume. Compare this density to water (1000 kg/m3).
