For each word problem, you must show two equations and your work. You may use the substitution or elimination method to solve the equations

  1. Drew has 21 coins, all nickels and quarters, worth 2.85. How many nickels and quarters does Drew have
  2. Sally’s $1800 savings is in two accounts. Her total interest for the year was $93 from one account earning 6% interest and another earning 3% interest. How much does she have in each account.
  3. The talent show committee sold a total of 530 tickets in advance. Student tickets cost $3 each and the adult tickets cost $4 each. If the total receipts were $1740, how many of each type of ticket were sold?

Please help me with this anyone, I’m really stuck.
