If sin θ = 1/2, then opposite side = 1 and hypotenuse = 2.
The directions state
use the Pythagorean identity
to determine the third side.

is there a difference from the Pythagorean Theorem versus the Pythagorean Identity? and I realize sin is opposite over hypotenuse so what I did was 1² + x² = 2², and I ended up with radical 3 over 2 as my final answer, is this correct?12/16/18
