Masters' Degree in Mathematics with 35 years of Teaching Experience
(a + b)/(a - b) = 5/3
Cross multiply.
5(a - b) = 3(a + b)
5a - 5b = 3a + 3b
5a - 3a = 5b + 3b
2a = 8b
a = 4b
a/b = 4/1
