I hope by now you are getting how to do these. This will be the 3rd one, so will guide you, and hopefully you can learn how to do them.
You want 3 mg/kg and the child is 20 kg. So, you want 60 mg of drug. (3 mg/kg x 20 kg = 60 mg)
You have 125 mg/2 ml = 62.5 mg/ml. Since 1 ml = 62.5 mg, and you want 60 mg, how many mls do you need? Obviously less than 1 ml (62.5 mg), but how much. 62.5 mg/ml (x ml) = 60 mg. Solve for x.
