Please help I'm having problems understanding this chapter!

Find x where 3π/2≤x≤2π. 1+sin^2(x)=2+cos^2(x)+sin^2(x)

1+sin^2(x)=2+cos^2(x)+sin^2(x)

But cos^2(x)+sin^2(x) = 1

Then

1+sin^2(x) = 2 + 1 = 3 which is impossible

So I question if you copied the problem correctly.
