Need help I am stumped

What is the answer, The second of two numbers is 9 more than 4 times the first. Their sum is 98. Find the numbers.

The 2nd number is 9 more than 4 times the first, so it will be 4x + 9

The sum is 98, so x + 4x + 9 = 98

Solve:

5x + 9 =98

5x = 89

x = 17.8

2nd number = 80.2

Sum = 98 and the 2nd number is 9 more than 4x the first.
