Treats them as equations so as to find the intersection
y = 2x+1
y= -x - 5
SUBTRACTING them: 0 = 3x 6
-6 = 3x
x = -2
the intersection is (-2,-3)
y<2x+1 : tests origin (0,0)
0 < 2(0) + 1
0 < 0+1=1
yes, it works, shades towards the origin
y > -x-5
Test the origin (0,0)
0 > -0-5 = -5, yes it works, shades towards the origin
both lines are dotted.
