I have a problem with terminology here and maybe it is because I am old and learned geometry in a different time.
I always applied the term congruent to figures, not to line segments.
Line segments, in my time, were always described as equal or unequal...and I suppose that term should only be applied to the LENGTH of the segments
The two line segments QR and QS have the same length by definition of "midpoint" and for that reason I would say they are congruent.
