I will not solve this for you but I will tell you how to do it.

Add the 2 equations and the y is added out and you wind up with the quadratic

2x² - 5x - 12 = 0

This has 2 roots which you should be able to get by factoring (or if necessary by the quadratic formula).

Each root then gives a value for y by substitution in either of the original equations.
