Mura sends her free time on a typical Saturday. If she has 6 hours of free time, how many hours does she spend playing board game or going to park? Board game 1/10, Park 2/5, Piano 3/7, Reading 1/12. Please help! Thank you.

These fractions total a number that is GREATER than 100%=1 !!!!

The common denominator is 420

42/420 + 168/420 + 180/420 + 35/420 = 425/420 > 1 = 100%

Anyway, 6 hours = 360 minutes....

Board game : 1/10 * 360 = 36 minutes

Park : 2/5 * 360 = 720/5 = 144 minutes = 2 hours and 24 minutes

Piano: 3/7 * 360 = 154 and 2/7 minutes = 2 hours 34 and 2/7 minutes

Reading: 1/12 * 360 = 30 minutes
