OK... You can do this problem in 4 different ways. Lets try this one
2t-1= .75 t+9 Add 1 to both sides. Why? I decided to move the all the
+1 +! constants to the right.
2t = .75t +10 Subtract .75t from both sides
-.75t -.75t
1.25t= 10 Divide both sides by 1.25
t= 8
