I thought I'd add an additional method to solve this problem. In a case like this, where the dilutions are simple multiples such as 5 ml diluted to 500 ml (1:100) and 10 ml diluted to 100 ml (1:10), this may be an easier method.
1:100 dilution x 1:10 dilution = 1:1000 dilution (overall).
2.93 M/1000 = 0.00293 M = 2.93x10^-3 M
