Hi Lauren, thanks for helping me, but I still don’t understand. What do you mean opposite sign and inverse?

Lauren H.

The inverse of 2 is 1/2.  The inverse of 1/3 is 3.
The opposite of a positive number is a negative number, and, vice versa.
