i am having a really hard time understanding this question(by the way, its from my math book) , please help me out. ;-;

Look at it this way:  4 is 1/4 of 16 because 16(1/4) = 4

 

what part of 48 is 6/15?

So, the question is, by what do I multiply 48 to get 6/15?

 

48x = 6/15

x = (6/15)/48 or (6/15)(1/48) = (1/15)(1/8) = 1/120
