How do i do this ?

I have this question in my math homework telling me that i have to write the equation of a couple of pictures in black and white are 7 less than than the triple of the coloured pictures. I really don't understand this one.

Let bw = black & white, and c = colored.

 

In your question, you state "a couple of pictures in black & white", which equates to 2bw.

 

...are 7 less -> this means that you have to subtract 7

 

...than triple of the colored pictures ->  this translates to 3c

 

Now put all the fragments of the question together to hopefully give the equation you need so as long as no other information is missing from the question.

 

2bw = 3c - 7
