Carlos joined a music club that offered him 5 downloads for a total of $3 if he agreed to purchase an additional 10 downloads for $15 each if he purchase all of them what would be the average price excluding taxes for each download

I just saw your question about the CD downloads.

I don't want to give you the answer, but I'll tell you how to solve it.

 

In order to figure out the average price of all of the downloads (if Carlos purchased all of them), you need to figure out the total dollar amount of the downloads and the total number of downloads.

 

For the total dollar amount of all of the downloads, add up the total dollar amount of the first 5 downloads and the total dollar amount of the 10 additional downloads (with each of those additional downloads costing $15).

 

Add up the number of downloads Carlos has purchased.

 

Then, remember the formula for calculating an average, and you should be fine.
