After 1/6 of a barrel of rice was eaten, 10 kg of the rice was left. How many kg of rice would be left after 1/4 of it had been eaten?

I know that 10 kg = 5/6, and that's all i really know, please help! i'm cramming for a test and reviewing everything i got wrong, but i don't understand this one

Let x = the original amount of rice

 

1 x = 10     Multiply both sides by 6

1 (60) = 15 kg left
