Claire purchased just enough fencing to border either a rectangular or triangular are the same. How many feet of fencing did she buy?

Rectangle shows 3x-3 length and x-3 width.  Triangle is 2x-1 and 2x.  How many feet of fencing did she buy? Their perimeters are the same.

As perimeter for rectangle = perimeter of triangle

 

2( length + width )  = sum of 3 sides

 

but in your question you mention only 2 sides of triangle. so pls mention 3rd side as well
