-y=-3x-1
y=3x+1
The slope is 3, so from a point on the line, to get to the next point you go up 3 and over to the right 1.
The y-intercept is 1, so the line intersects the y axis at (0,1). That's an ordered pair. You can check it by plugging in the two numbers into the original equation. If you solve and get something true, like -1=-1, then you've found a good solution.
To find another ordered pair, use the slope m=3. From (0,1), go up 3 and over 1. This brings you to the ordered pair (1,4).
