d some has a length of 48 feet where 13 posts will be equally placed. If both hands of the 48 feet fence will have posts. How far is each posts from the first?

there is a post at each end and 11 posts in between

the 11 posts divides the 48 feet into 12 equal pieces (48/12=4)

each post will be 4 feet from the previous one

the second post is 4 feet from the first post

the third post is 8 feet from the first post

the fourth post is 12 feet from the first post

and so on...
