Hi Alexis,
I am assuming that DEF refers to a triangle. That means the sum of its angles is 180. Since the angles are in the ratio 2:4:4 there is a constant of proportionality that we can call k. So the angles could be represented by 2k, 4k, and 4k.
That means 2k + 4k + 4k = 180.
10k = 180
k=18.
So the angles are 2(18), 4(18), and 4(18). Or: 36, 72, 72. Note that those angles do indeed add to 180.
