in the triangle, the top angle is 57 degrees and the bottom angle is 33 degrees because of the parallel sides and the transversal
sin57º=n/14, where sin=opposite/hypotenuse and n is the bottom side
cos33º=n/14 where cos=adjacent/hypotenuse and n is the bottom side
cos33º=sin57º=0.83867
0.83867=n/14
n=14*0.83867
n=11.74 feet is the length of the bottom side (and the top side)
