Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

The form of each stanza is the same (lines 1, 2, and 4 rhyme), except in the fourth stanza, all lines rhyme -- and the last line is repeated (to add a profound meaning to it).
Watching falling snow in a darkening forest is a rather simple pleasure ("some mistake ?"). It becomes profound when it is interpreted as looking into death. But, there are lots and lots of "promises to keep" and "miles to go." Most of us have lots of things to do and places to go and goals to reach and ... (ever hear of a "Bucket List"?).
Select the choice that emphasizes the reality of death. What then?
