He re's how I interpret the left side: log (base one half) of the fraction one ninth.
I will apply thechange-of-base formula to the left side, and therefore
ln(1/9) / ln (1/2) = 2xln2
...error here! right side should be (ln x^2 )/ ln x or 2 (lnx)/(ln2)
