Janine hired an engineer to do some work. The last bill, was for a total of $775. $325 was listed for parts and the rest was for labor. If the hourly rate for labor was $50, how many hours of labor was needed to complete the job?

775-325=450

450/50= 9

9=x I think I solved the problem but I need help writing an algebraic expression for it
