A right angled triangle has two shorter sides and one is twice as long as the other.

 The hypotenuse is 25cm long. What are the lengths of the 2 shorter sides?

x2 + (2x)2 = 252
5x2 = 625

x = √(625/5)

x = √125

x = 5√5 = 11.18 cm
2x = 10√5 = 22.36 cm
