asked 02/11/18question in the description
lisa is flying her kite hight in the sky. She releases the string to its full length of 55m, and holds the end of the string at head height. Lisa is 178m tall. Assume the string forms a straight line. Lisa sees the kite flying directly over a tree which she knows is 35m from where she is standing. Calculate the height the kite is flying above the ground.

I will assume that Lisa is 1.78m tall instead of 178m tall since
I highly doubt she is 584 feet in height...
Given a right triangle with hypotenuse of 55 m
and one leg of 35m...
find the length of the other leg, then add 1.78 m to that to account for Lisa's height.
x2 + 352 = 552
x2 = 552 - 352
x2 = 1800
x = 42.43 meters
The height above the ground is 42.43 + 1.78 = 44.21 meters
