Does a cork float or sink if the density of the cork is 0.24 g/cm3 and the waters density is 1.0 cm/3?

I dont know if the cork sinks or floats in water?

An object will float if its density is less than that of water and will sink if its density is greater than that of water.  The cork's density is 0.24 g/cm^3, and the density of water is 1.00 g/cm^3.  So the cork will float.
