j(x) = 2x3 on [1, 1 + h]

 

Use    dy/dx = nx^n-1

 

j(x)=2x³

 

j'(x)=(d/dx) j(x)=d/dx 2x³

 

j'(x)= 6x²

 

Slope = Rate of Change= 6
