This is kind of an easy question and for the most part I've figured it out,

(11.40 x 3 = 34.20

13.75  x 5__ = ____

add them together, etc.)

The problem I actually have is that I've completely forgotten how to do the half an hour bit (oops)

(11.40 x 3 = 34.20

13.75  x 5.50 = 75.63

$109.82 for the 8 1/2 hour shift

13.75 x 5.5 = 75.625

11.4 x 3 = 34.20

75.625 + 34.20 = 109.825

In mathematics, you round up if it's .5, although some round down if it's an even integer.
