So, we must find out what expression we must have for the are to be (32x+48) square inches given the length of 16 inches. We yield the formula for area of a rectangle such that
A = length * width ............... Then we plug in our information such that
(32x+48) = 16 * width..........We divide out 16 from both 32 and 48 to get
width = 2x+3
