What is the probability that the marble is red AND odd-numbered?
The probability that the marble is red is 4/14 or 2/7.
The probability that it is odd is 7/14 or 1/2.
The probability it is both is the two probabilities multiplied together.
The probability it isn't red AND odd is 1 - that probability. That is also the probability that it is either blue OR even.
