These two questions are quite alike, but I cannot use the same method for them and it seems like the second problem considers the order while the first does not

1) Tina and Tricia play on a softball team. Tina has 8 hits out of 20 times at bat, and Tricia has 6 hits out of 16 times at bat. Based on their past performance, what is the probability that both girls will get a hit the next time they bat? (Answer: 3/20)
2) There are 20 people at a competition, including Bob and his two friends. Each competitor has an equal chance of winning a prize and no one can win more than one prize. What is the probability that Bob and both of his friends each will win a prize? (Answer is 1/1140 and this is possible only if the six orders are considered and are multiplied. But the thing is why the order is not considered in the first problem)
