STATS - Hypothesis Testing

Question

A random sample of 80 graduate students shows that 22 students have shopped online in the past year. Is there enough evidence to show that the true population proportion is lower than 60%? Conduct the test at 10% level significance. 

 

(a) Null H -      (I think this is the answer) ---> p=.6

(b) Alternate H - (I think this is the answer) ---> p<.6 

(c) Compute the test statistic.

 

I'm very confused on c because I thought that the formula was - ((p-hat)-p₀)/(sqrt(p₀*(1-p₀))/n) and I do not know what p-hat is from the question.

p-hat is a sample proportion.  In this case 22/80.
